I don't usually actually wear a bowl on my head. Usually.
Mostly food, games, and silliness. Tech sometimes probably. This is my personal account, thoughts are my own.

This is Ozzy. His human made a lovely gallery wall just for him. Appreciates the gesture, but is a little preoccupied with trying to jailbreak this tennis ball. 13/10 (IG: ozzythelabmix)

Zuri’s daycare has been doing these special “summer camp” days and yesterday’s was pool day. Zuri has always acted like she *hates* the water with us-literally jumps over puddles and won’t go near the splash pad at the park So I couldn’t believe this

A large fluffy white dog has just jumped into a kiddie pool with a hose running into it filled with colorful floating dog toys Her face is all wet dripping with water She’s in a more shallow pool eyeing up some colorful toys with a hose spraying mist into the pool

When I was a kid we “only” qualified for the reduced lunch instead of free lunch program because the child support my father wasn’t paying still counted as income. Sometimes I was too terrified to ask for lunch money, so I didn’t get to eat. Charging for lunch in public schools is ridiculous.

I'll have a post on this later, but Saka gave a righteous speech about his own experience as a kid on free/reduced price lunch in which he spoke about the administrative burden of applying for such, yes, MEANS-TESTED programs and the fact that many kids who qualify by income aren't enrolled.
