If someone asks you âWhat is your sex?â In a toilet, they are the weirdo. If they ask you âWhat sex were you assigned at birth?â They want to know what your genitals looked like when you were a baby. I would look at anyone doing this in the same I would look at Rod Liddle talking about porn.
Here's a sculpture based on the muse Polhymnia from Hesiod's Theogony.

I've been huge on cold noodle salads this summer. Here's a recent one that was pretty! (it's got a ginger-sesame dressing, which I learned to make from scratch last month, too. it's very refreshing on hot days, a great meal.)

It also echoes the tests conducted by Stan Winston Studios to create the Alien Queen a decade earlier. This prototype was nicknamed Alien "Trash Bag" Queen. Because it really was. Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis also worked on Aliens (1986); they founded Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. (ADI) in 1988.
(Please let me enjoy this moment of joy instead of telling me what I already know about the political and funding crisis in global HIV research and treatment. Thank you.)
One of the young reporters I'm mentoring cannot remember a time when being diagnosed HIV+ was a death sentence in South Africa. We've made such huge strides in the past 25 years.
