There’s a petition signed by more than one hundred academics (& counting!) in support of Nathan Cofnas—the racist who instigated the pile on that led to J. Arday’s death—because he lost his postdoc. Apparently there’s nothing a white man can do that deserves consequences.

Ohio has some of the best libraries in the country because we used to ensure they were well funded with dedicated state funds in addition to local levies. That funding system has been dismantled by the state legislature over the past couple decades and we’re wrecking something we excelled at.

Citizens United was decided in 2010 when the national debt was $13.5 TRILLION. 16 years later our national debt is $40 TRILLION. That unwise decision opened the doors to unregulated spending in our politics & escalation in the corruption that it brings, making debt service almost impossible.
