"Dyfed, the Guiding Hand" - 16"x20" Oil on Cradled Board AD: Deborah Garcia This was the first time I've read an entire book to really dial in on a Magic assignment, but I'm glad I did. There are a lot of narrative details woven in throughout her design and the scene itself. #mtg #mtgmbc

Lord Morden Slough, a man of cynical gallantry, led the first disastrous expeditionary brigade to Swill. Now he has returned, bitter and broken, swearing vengeance on the pettifogging aristocrats that tried to send him to his doom.

Very excited to finally share my latest painting - Request for Aid I had a blast researching and drafting this one! It was so fun to explore the composition, pose and lighting to find what best described the mood and story I wanted to convey.

A wounded female character with torn wings kneels in front of a grand figure and is tentatively reaching for their hand.

The central character has large red and white striped moth wings, wears metal armour and holds a large spear with two of their four hands. They look down at the wounded guest and offer their hand. With their remaining hand, they request the support of an assistant who approaches with a bowl of medicinal items which is erupting with a thin smoke that curls around the assistant as they walk.

Other members of the court can be faintly seen in the far distance observing the unfolding action with awe.

In the background, large curtains drape over the court and frame the huge cocoon which hangs behind our central characters.

Every now and then I'm lucky enough to have a commission that just kinda... lets me do whatever I want. If I remember right, this client just asked me to paint the Grim Reaper, however I felt like representing him. Coolest job in the world? Maybe

Sundering Archaic, my second(and last) piece for Magic’s newest set, Secrets of Strixhaven. My hand to card ratio was insane this set! 🤌👌✌️🫰👉👈🖖🤙 So thrilled to have had a chance to paint an archaic, such a cool creature design 😌 AD: Sam Padilla

The Spectral Guide -watercolor, acryla gouache on paper This painting was created for Commander Sealed's 2026 playmat, the original will be auctioned in August. My concept was to portray the strength that comes from community, the guidance and courage that we lend to one another in trying times.

A knight in rusty armor and a wooden shield, brandishes his sword at an unseen foe. An angel made of prismatic light flies by his side, ribbons of light wrapping around the knight.

My first ever piece for Games Workshop, painted a couple years ago! The cover of Shade of Khaine; this was pretty much a dream come true, Warhammer has always been important to me since I was a kid, and gratefully I've done many more paintings for them since
