And here is the rub. This is an example of technology that makes money not bt solving problems, but by exacerbating them.

YES. THIS. if an institution has a policy about academic dishonesty and defines it as turning in work that isn't yours, then the work of generative AI counts as dishonest. You might prompt it but the output isn't your own work.

Plagiarism is against every school's policy I know. Student privacy is protected by law and policy. Bullying is barred. USE YOUR HEAD, people.
