it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy

Then they have all the transcripts (and the ai token bill) but no sensemaking. so they make another app — a layer that will make sense of all the useless transcripts. But of course sensemaking isnt just pattern spotting. It’s interpretation. AI cannot do either because AI cannot be curious

You can become disabled or homeless in an instant. It just takes one accident or illness to change your life forever. It’s not a moral failing. You can’t just “try harder”. People need support, compassion and to have their basic needs met. That’s how you ensure survival.

I have one project left for my masters. I could probably finish it with one more couple-hour push. So of course I am dillydallying. Feel free to reply with "how's the project coming" etc. until I get so mad at being held accountable that I hide my phone from myself and do the damn thing.
