I do genuinely feel that the human race is my family. I think about that Carl Sagan "mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam" line a lot. We're like germs you guys. We're living dust. Have fun about it. Have a cry about it. Make love about it. Make art about it. Just don't be an asshole about it.

Something that might read as mean initially but it's how my views have changed over time. When I was growing up, I remember a lot of low-key disability shaming. Walk a certain way, fix your voice, never complain. When not meeting expectations: "there are no reasons, only excuses."

AI use is progressive. I don't even like calling it a crutch, because crutches protect you from worsening injury while you heal, or help you retain mobility in the face of permenant disability. Using Gen AI for creative endeavours is like voluntarily taking a poison that withers your soul.

Is it sad that I've been stuck not wanting to be real and vulnerable to folks? New friends? Even old friends now? I hope I was alright towards you, and if I wasn't, I apologize. Mostly. We're humans, we have flaws, nothing is perfect forever. It's ok. I don't hate you, save for a few.

It's that special time of the year: SDCC time! Which I'm NOT AT this year because my ARM IS BROKEN. So I've put all my stuff that I was GOING to sell at San Diego up on my website! Like my T-SHIRTS and my TOTE BAGS! And also everything else. korybing.storenvy.com

Image for "I'm-not-at-sdcc-because-I-broke-my-arm SALE!!" All the stuff I was gonna sell at my booth! Like these shirts! (and more)

hhhh really don't like the deployment of the word "ethical" here. Reading dark and fucked up fiction with bad and evil things in it isn't "unethical," nor are books which contain no such dark themes more "ethical" in nature. This is Hays Code rhetoric, it's the kinda shit Moms For Liberty would post

Please enjoy this bishounen Takashi Miike I made to illustrate how understanding what symbols we use in art represent in real life allows you to figure out how to apply those symbols in new contexts and use references more effectively 🖊️🦑

An anime-ish looking guyThe anime-ish guy placed over a drawing of Takashi Miike to show that the anime guy actually has the same proportions as Takashi Miike. The features have just all been simplified and stylized in such a way that you would never think that this drawing was, for all intents and purposes, traced off Takashi Miike’s faceA photograph of Takashi Miike
