I spent my afternoon cleaning out my hydroponic system to start fresh for the fall. Kind of funny (sad?) that the safe normal lettuce I’m growing is probably more rare than the devil’s lettuce that hydroponic supply places tend to focus on 🌱

I went to the grocery store to return something I bought that was sealed and full of mold, and realized I was parked next to this. I can’t wait to laugh about what a dumb time this was someday
I just did a little more late season fruit tree/plant shopping. Things were definitely on sale but it’s wild how many trees I got for the price of a few pounds of their produce. I know it will take some time to grow them but by the time I’m harvesting the prices of fruit will probably be worse 🫠

I was looking for ideas for a project I’m doing and searched “solarpunk” on Pinterest. More than half of the images that came up were AI generated and I just don’t think using AI is a very solarpunk thing to do

I’ve been using TikTok to keep up on national events, but today I have the “oops, all commercials!” version, who could possibly guess why... I spent half an hour blocking accounts, I hope it helps. I know there are valid issues with it, but it had been a useful info source for me (until today)
1-x I'm going to take a moment to circle back to the C Kirk imbroglio. I felt it was a line that needed to be drawn and vigorously defended. Vocally and forcefully. But at a cost. I paid the toll because I have said and believe if my privilege is a bank account, I want it overdrawn when I go.

Clear, large uptick in the number of major incumbent politicians not running/retiring specifically due to harassments and threats of violence. The harassers are like 0.1% of the population but hugely impactful.
