I don’t get why so many of you think our president is in mental decline, all he’s doing is imposing new taxes on you, because he thinks he’s punishing Canada, for being on fire

We're still figuring out getting my parents and brother a permanent home and the costs are still outrageous. So any shares of the post are still greatly appreciated!
I'm still doing a GoFundMe to help my parents rebuild after a devastating house fire. The costs of doing so, with an uninsured house, are extremely high. My parents are elderly and low-income and my disabled brother lives with them. I deeply appreciate shares of this link! gofund.me/ac93c03d5
Rape is a crime against democracy in the most immediate sense of equality between individuals and the premise that we’re all endowed with certain inalienable rights.
I say it often but once again: By granting them borrowing privileges and protecting their privacy, public libraries afford children a form of civic standing and respect that has few parallels in our “free” society, which mostly treats children as chattel. Vociferously defend public libraries. 📚

Me too! Always rooting for an underdog to roll up a newspaper and smack a rich team on the nose
one reason I almost always root for the underdog in global-stage tournaments is that when it gets to the finals and all the teams left are the ones with the millionaire players, the announcers are especially wretched about it. AND SO THESE TWO TEAMS* MEET, AS IT HAD TO BE stfu *of global stars

If we actually want to appreciate moms, we should be providing free childcare, healthcare, and guaranteed income for stay-at-home parents to put more money in families’ pockets and ensure no SAHP is reliant on a partner for their economic security. Idk I think that’s better than 15% off a vacuum.
