I like to take leftovers from the week and combine them into a wholly new dish. I call it "nextovering". This week's entry is chicken molé casserole. Roasted chicken thigh meat, farro, vegetables, molé sauce, beans, sweet potato and cheese. Excepting the sweet potato & beans, the rest are leftovers.

I'm thinking that if you didn't grow up in the US during the 60's through 80's you will never understand the power of sour cream, onion soup mix and potato chips.

Asking people to understand that American dominance in women's soccer is a byproduct of Title IX, which helped foster high-level women's sports in this coontry, in stark contrast to most of the reat of the world. It's a systemic, structural thing we should be proud of.
