The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

The antitrust trial over the Warner Bros./Paramount merger is officially set for March 2027. Beginning September 30, Paramount will also be required to pay Warner Bros. shareholders $7 million per day until the merger is finalized.

The judge rightfully rejected Paramount’s November trial request, they were like “Nah fuck that”. I can’t wait for Paramount to lose so much money by doing this, that ticking fee is gonna kill them financially lmao
