Found a tentative answer to my own question: How does a agentic coding “spurt” differ from traditional overwork Things like overtime + lack of sleep are well-known; what's new is the loss of impulse control... which keeps drawing me back to my laptop. That's different to the traditional work model.

I’ve now gained first-hand experience from a whole week of intensive agentic coding with a severe lack of sleep. I’m taking steps to address this and keeping in touch with my family.

195 metascience essays, read cover to cover by @asterainstitute.bsky.social . Top theme by far: coordination failure — not funding, not ideas. No shared mechanism for maintaining, prioritizing, or reusing work across labs. h/t @seemaychou.bsky.social for writing it up so clearly.

"Museum exhibit" is an immersive, architectural medium. Most art in museums isn't native to this medium. It's transplanted via hermetic enclosures: frames on walls, plexiglass boxes on pedestals. "Installation art" really just means art meant for this medium, art that knows it's in a museum.

Great exhibition "over the fence" in Zeitgeschichliches Forum Leipzig about gardening culture. community gardening, guerilla gardening... We can learn a lot for digital gardening. @hdg.de

Catalyze Open Science panel today. Drafting a bio made me realize: the most interesting recent work isn't renate.chat or AIDLE — it's two frameworks for staying human in the agentic loop: author-preservation (tilde.cards, tilde.style, trespass.ing) + champion briefing (journal → Semble → agents).

Reminder - happening tomorrow! Based on the pre-call prep - this should be a fun discussion, with lots of #ATScience topics :)

I’ve just opened Acoustic Player 3-2026 and read in the editorial that I’m holding the penultimate issue of the magazine. Editor-in-chief Andreas Schulz’s mindset hack: “All’s well that ends well.”
