Today I am operating coach 8649, which is wearing a tribute livery modeled on the cream and green “wings” livery Muni vehicles would have been using 75 years ago. I am not a huge fan of how it looks in vinyl on a New Flyer, though it looks very classy on PCC Streetcars 1006 and 1008.
This bus is on the 48 line today and departs from Ocean Beach today at 7:52, 10:21, 12:39, 2:53, and 5:17, and departs Dogpatch at 6:53, 9:08, 11:31, 1:50, 4:02, and 6:25.

I took Muni everywhere when I lived in SF, to the confusion and befuddlement of my techbruh colleagues. Taking the 33 through the Mission would remind me so much of Queens & Corona in the 70's. When you visit a city, take to bus to experience life like a local. You may get a fkadhback as a bonus!

Happy 31st birthday to this scar on my head. On May 11th, I had a life saving brain surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I was 10 years old. My family has celebrated the anniversary as Brain Day ever since. 🧠
