Weeded the house (it got bad), got bagels from my favorite local spot, took the missus into town for ice cream and walk along the Hudson, made a dish of cod with tomato and capers sauce, and even got one of my @cataclysmarcade.bsky.social trades in the mail. Pretty good day, overall.
I would only put Master of Disgust on here someplace. That whole album is batshit. The title track is what my eyeballs sound like after a pre-workout, two caffè doppio, and zero sugar energy drink.

Very unmotivated to do anything today. It just feels like a fay to chill and listen to music. That's the thing when I get a day to myself. I'm either incredibly productive or I just want to relax in my own energy and at my own pace. Maybe a late afternoon coffee will fix me. 😅

My gosh, it's like my brain just flipped a switch and turned on in a way I haven't been able to access for years now. A honed academic focus I lost in the sea of mandated classes and forced, generic, half-baked ideas. I feel like crying, not gonna lie.

Grief, hand painted after Pablo Picasso's 'Guitarist'. The original work was created during Picasso's Blue Period. Following the suicide of his close friend Carles Casagemas, from 1901-1904 the artist created works in shades of blue that explored themes of grief, loneliness, etc.
With flying, I will never understand why after boarding elderly, disabled, and children the crew boards people who are seated un the back first. It seems so much smoother.
