Eight years ago a photographer snapped some pics for my college magazine. I think they would have used this one if it weren't for @tonyfleecs.bsky.social's stupid standee in the background. Why didn't we move this goddamn thing?
Nintendo is discontinuing Mario Kart Tour (with no option to play offline) and my kids are so mad that I’m concerned for shigeru miyamoto’s safety.
Weird, my copy of Legend of Kamui has no KAMUI on either the cover or the spine!
SWAMP-THING !!! Finishing this big boy up and packing him up to ship out to his new home today !!!

The new Dateline podcast has a cop named Burnham. Hearing Keith Morrison say "Chiseled face, close cropped hair... Burnham was known as the quiet one, cool and circumspect." is kinda all I've ever wanted.
The Body Worlds exhibition book is my most-used piece of reference material BY FAR! I couldn't have done it without you, Gunther! Rest In Plastic!
Gunther von Hagens, the scientist behind the popular and polarizing traveling exhibitions of human corpses, has died at 81.
I kinda love this but it’s funny that the whole point of the moment in the story is “holy shit Shu is lifting that thing” and the toy can’t really lift that thing.
Enough about The Odyssey. It’s high time we all returned to Normalcy.
Finally sinking my teeth into this @gerryduggan.bsky.social bad boy, with a bloody GLORIOUS cover by @theburnham.bsky.social
I was looking to buy my dad a copy of Red Harvest, forgetting that it's now in the public domain and there are one billion different versions out there, presumably with wildly varying production values (and maybe AI illustrations?) Annoying enough to dig through that I said the hell with it.
Sweating walls look super creepy. I wonder if there’s a way to put dye capsules in the paint somehow to make it look like it’s bleeding.
40 years later I still get excited every time I see one of these things.
I need you all to know that the Berkeley Public Library has solicited submissions for a new mascot, and you can now vote for the contestants and I'm losing my mind. berkeleypublic-library.github.io/Fiber-Mascot...

I was always mildly curious if you could cut UNITY together in chronological order. The way the days were specifically called out seemed to lend itself to it.
Nick been dominating the competiton for years btw
Damn RIP to Chuck Russell. The Blob is an all-timer. The first R-rated movie I saw in the theater! Not sure how to respectfully mourn someone whose main contribution to the culture was inventing horrible and hilarious ways to die. I hope he didn’t get sucked down a drainpipe!
Is there a word for when a sequel to a prequel is a remake of the original? Like how Hannibal s3 is manhunter?
#SDCC comic con: our daughter left her 3D printed black dragon in the restroom near E/Starbucks. She printed it herself and is devastated. We checked the restroom and lost and found which means someone picked it up. If you bring it to 5552 I will give you a signed comic as reward
I wrote a piece last year after thinking about it for a long time and Steve published it today. It's about my birthday, growing up in the afrocentric era, the joy of elbow grease, Gil Scott-Heron, and the voice you use with your father after realizing you're taller than him.
