We don't talk enough about stuff that's of personal interest to me. And it's amazing how few people know the information I've just learned
Woke up thinking about how "Elric of Melniboné" scans to "Jesus of Suburbia," so feel free to do something with that if you want
I’ve been moving and haven’t had the time to watch anything but the most bottom of the barrel crap on tubi. Now that I’m mostly unpacked I can get back to watching the bottom of the barrel crap I own on disc.
It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better
"Found footage" that's meant to be analog but is very clearly digital with a filter slapped on top. Get a camcorder from facebook! If you can't, shoot at 30 fps in 4:3 and transfer it to tape! There are no excuses!!
What is an extremely nerdy/obscure/specific thing you hate with a white-hot wrath?
If you ever think you have a firm handle on where Branson is taking Swan Boy next, no you don't.
NEW EPISODE! The Black Casebook returns with a suitably epic analysis of perhaps the single most influential story in Batman's history. Frank Miller and his collaborators called down the lightning to make this book; four decades later, we're still interpreting the thunder. pod.link/1618791941/e...

Incredibly detailed art by Geoff Taylor for Games Workshop’s White Dwarf magazine and Warhammer box art
It probably feels good as hell to yell "ENOUGH!" and transition into the final phase of your fight.
Wwwwelp looks like one of my longterm clients just went kaput so we’re gonna just bump this again.
Reminder that I got comms open if folks need art! vgen.co/Boog
There are a million religious horror movies a year going ooh the devil!! and none of them are half as scary as Carpenter asking if the world is like this because everything is going according to plan.
I love Prince of Darkness because it allows John Carpenter to play with the idea of ultimate evil as both physical and biblical at the same time. We are lured toward its various vessels, whether it's the snake in Eden, the swirling liquid in the cylinder, or the unknowable depths behind the mirror.
I have accepted that I cannot and should not be a constant content youtuber; instead I'm going to try and be the beloved elder statesman type that makes one video a year but it's always an event. Much of this depends on you so be prepared to freak the fuck out when I eventually finish something.
When you make a new Jason, one thing to keep in mind is he doesn't look like Freddy Krueger. This used to be step one of the process but I understand that priorities shift.
NECA Jason Universe Ultimate Sweet Revenge Jason. Available now to preorder through NECA direct, will be available through other retailers soon.
As talk of the terrible economy pops up once again, I think of the time I said on here that most people rent and no one's talking about how that gets more expensive every year. Somebody tried to gotcha me by saying 30% of Americans are homeowners. What do the other 70% do, genius?

I understand that it sucks to have to read a book you didn't choose as a kid but when people are like 40 and still going, "well assigned reading turned me off from reading" it's like, ok but you're 40. No one has assigned you a book in like 20 years.
