Well. Maintenance guy just came to fix my broken HVAC unit, did something that blew a fuse or tripped a circuit breaker, now the whole apartment is without power. He has gone for backup.

I had a butter pecan hojicha latte today at a coffee shop I don't regularly frequent. It was a seasonal special, and I fear this may become one of those food experiences you dream of years after and can never find again.

It turns out I do get ABC, so I am watching Dancing with the Stars for Amber Glenn and Amber Glenn only. I have not watched this show since I was in college and Zendaya was on it. Zendaya didn’t win, so I never watched it again.

I will be at Worldcon this weekend! Say hi if you see me! I will also be skipping the convention tomorrow and Monday to go to Disneyland because nothing can keep me away from Disneyland when I am this close. 😉

I have been in and out of every store I can think of today looking for a little battery-powered hand fan for travel this week only to be told that no, that’s seasonal, summer is over, it’s Halloween now. Excuse me, the weather says that summer is not over!

It is amazing to me that they'll just keep giving you new driver's licenses so long as you don't have driving-related infractions or whatever. What if I actually haven't driven a car in the past 5 years, huh? Am I really still qualified to have this? 🫠
