Hey @housedemocrats.bsky.social and @senatedemocrats.bsky.social can you push to ban detaining kids and get all kids in camps released? This is a good, achievable goal that if the other side refuses, makes them ghouls. Honor these kids courage and free them. @schumer.senate.gov

It’s about who we are, not who “they” are. After 9/11, it was: should we give “terrorists” due process? Then, it was: Should we let asylum seekers in the country? I said it then and I say it now: we lost the “war on terror” on day 1, when we gave up who we are because we have been terrified.
