can ppl actually stop mindlessly scrolling feeds to really engage w art and writing they see. it feels like the more effort a creative put into their work, the more of a chore ppl think it is to engage with it and thats depressing. i promise your community's passions are not lousy homework.

there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.
