Metro Detroit public transit has been funded through a millage since 1995. However, township sized cities (up to 36 sqmi) were allowed to opt out. 10 years after the four county regional transit millage failed by 1% in 2016, Oakland Co went all in (2022) & now Wayne Co is all in.

With 41.38% of precincts reporting, it looks like incumbent Sheldon Neeley is well in the lead for the Flint mayor dem nomination :/ My friends whose opinions I trust were rooting for Roshanda Womack, who is currently in third.
