Mad folks need to see, look there's a whole bunch like you out here! You good! We're a valid type of person, not a mistake. Folks who go through what you go through are out there. Many of us live incredibly isolated lives & can't reveal a word of our true selves for fear of the violence of stigma.

I did a whole ass disabled tour and didn't post about it at all here, but ins seven weeks we sold between a third and a half of the print run, hit the indie bestseller list nationally one week, every room felt like a disabled family reunion grief ritual.
