Yes! And the pandemic response proved a lot of things marginalized community members asked for and were told were impossible were just…fine. Working from home. Attendance policies that accommodate illness. More help for families with kids. Could have had these good things the whole time.

I agree strongly with this -- in that difficult moment, the possibility of collective effort was conceivable. Not everybody felt it, but many did. I think the political class did not like this one bit.

Lemme tell you about the angel of history being blown backwards into the future: The shackles these people have been put in are Hiatt brand, same company founded in 1780 to mass produce shackles for slaver ships.

I'm doing a little sticker drawing, and can't decide if I want to call it "Sword of Famine" and just have it be half of a Sword of Feast and Famine or call it "Nurgle's Buster Sword" and have it be a reskinned Cloud's Buster Sword [Umezawa's Jitte]. Get in the comments!
