Personal update: My uncle I was close with passed away. I'm totally heartbroken, but I'm also grateful for our amazing community. I'm very supported and it makes my heart full.

Picked up my Nikon DSLR from high school and got a kaleidescope lens filter for it. My therapist once told me to take photos when I'm sad. I get it now. Learning how to funnel my pain into art again has been...actually really nice.

One of my elderly regulars was talking to me today about the context between "fix your hearts or die." I explained it to him and he excitedly showed me his ftm trans best friend. He's known her since the 80s. So. Wholesome. ๐ฅน
