McCormick clearly has no idea what he is talking about. For Clausewitz "War is merely the continuation of policy by other means", and delay (or inaction) removes the absolute victory and replaces it with mere statistical probability. Ask yourself: is the manner of this war "absolute"???

It is hard to win at the World Cup with a leaky defense and a pedestrian goalkeeper. Add in a bit of awful hero ball by our biggest name player and the result is a rout.
