Skydance now owns Nick, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, and MTV, effectively ending US TV animation as we know it. Countless jobs will be lost, and fewer new shows will be created. An apocalyptic scenario for cartoons, yet it's maybe the 5th-worst thing about the Paramount-WB merger!

I decided to give Enterprise the fairest shot I could upon a rewatch. I'm three episodes in, and... I'm sorry guys but Faith of the Heart is a terrible song and an AWFUL choice for an intro. I wouldn't mind a pop or rock song intro, it's just that they picked an unbearably bad and cheesy one.

One thing I have trouble doing in my DMing is having neutral NPCs be not-helpful or not-friendly to the player characters. My drive to "Yes, And" sometimes gets in the way of letting these not-allies-but-also-not-antagonists sometimes just be jerks that make the quest a little harder.

I know this isn't the biggest deal about Ellison's Paramount taking over Warmer Bros, but I do worry that this is going to affect the storytelling of DC Comics. Both the comics and the movies. A wannabe Lex Luthor (with none of the fictional villain's charisma) basically just bought the company.

EVERYONE! See Forgotten Island before it leaves theaters! It's as if a Filipino who was deeply affected by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was raised on anime, Tumblr, and was not-so-secretly a furry, got to animate a movie. So fun and heartfelt. Dreamworks have really been killing it.

I'm pretty sure the Tom Cruise movie about a billionaire making a world destroying mistake is bombing because we're already living it. We see billionaires and politicians make the world a little worse every single day. No one wants to pay to see that.
Yesterday, I saw a guy with a hat that said F K NWSM, and I had no idea if the guy was a far-right chud who thinks he is a threat from the left, or if he was just a guy who understands and is angry that Newsom is the Republican-in-disguise that he is. A terrible nominee for president, regardless.
