HEY submit that freelancer’s invoice to accounts payable right now. We all know it takes at least net-30 days to get paid. Don’t make the unprotected worker have to scramble to figure out how to pay their bills. That’s sidewalk gum behavior.

For me, it doesn't seem to matter which gendered bathroom I use, they all feel unsafe. Hell, even at the airport using the all gender restroom recently, someone body slammed the door and almost busted it open while I was in there. There needs to be a cultural change regarding restrooms!

Right now in many parts of this country, I'd feel unsafe entering a men's room, even though I have M on my ID and I'm by all appearances a man, that's how fucked this broader situation is. If you're cis and you've never had to contemplate such things, indeed! We're experiencing different things.

I have also experienced damage to my health because of bathroom access issues as a nonbinary masc person. My pelvic & urinary health was impacted by how hard it was to safely access restrooms. I was followed in, had people pulling children away from me like I was a rabid dog, & I was terrified.+

Here's my Cosmo piece about how segregated bathrooms have impacted my own health www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/a6...

Reminder to everyone living with smoky air right now: DRINK MORE WATER. You're inhaling particulate even if you can't see it, your body needs to flush that crud out, and it needs water to do so. You're probably gonna produce more mucus and that's annoying, but it's helping clean out the crud.

Most aren't accessible for blind & low vision parents either 😑 Also. Omg. WHHYYYYY are there so many?!! One for the classroom, one for the sports team, one for the travel fundraiser - and there's no guarantee that even if you children are AT THE SAME SCHOOL that the teacher will use the same app 🤯😫

what is the most jankily developed type of mobile app and why is it the kind that schools pay for, with public money, to share identifiable data involving children

Someone let me know the community copies were out on Turn, so I have refreshed them. In doing so I saw someone has left a 2 star review with no comments. Tbh, it's a bummer. I don't even get to do game design anymore, I basically give my work away for free to any marginalized folks. What the eff.:/

Yes, this is 100% about censorship in general, and the current anti-sexual weirdness that’s going on. But a paragraph near the end of the article is especially telling… ASMR is primarily created by women. Women doing anything will always be perceived by some as inherently sexual (excerpt in comms)

a bunch of popular ASMR artists lost their channels forever this week, after YouTube cited them for violating terms against "sexually gratifying" content: www.404media.co/youtube-asmr...

I’m happy to report that the unique mechanic in the GenCon multi-table Heart game - that players who are playing the same pregens are actually shards of the same reincarnated saint from slightly different realities, and if they meet they instantly glom together into one body - is going well

Screenshot of Zeb’s post on our discord. Photo (next slide) is attached. “This table has two characters at it, this scenario fucking rules”Better-quality version of the attached picture. The GM is excitedly raising her hands and talking to a group of ten Heart players, who are playing two characters between them. As players glom together they just add their dice pools when they make actions, and gain access to ever-greater powers. Seeing as there’s a maximum occupancy of five players per saint, this indicates two incredibly powerful player characters

As we recall the trauma caused by COVID in 2020, we should not forget COVID continues to harm. Many still suffer from Long COVID, people who mask are often harassed, and we haven’t scaled clean air infrastructure. If we truly acknowledge past harms, we should be working to create a better future.
