Composite plot of the two coseismic interferograms (Sentinel-1, from Copernicus) with the USGS epicenters of the two earthquakes and faults from GEM. The shoreline San Sebastián fault lines up with the fringes in the west and is probably the fault responsible.

Very proud to be married to the awesome now Dr @commahound.bsky.social who has today successfully defended her thesis, completed part time in just 5 years, covid and all, while mostly working full time, bringing up two (now) teenage boys, and coping with me. She’s incredible! 🎉🍾🎉👩‍🎓
