It features two men, Micah and Terran, gazing at each other in a forest. Micah has blond hair, peach skin, and freckles. He's wearing a cream shirt and a straw hat. He's gripping the strap of his bag and blushing as he looks up at Terran. Terran is a tall man with tan skin and a dark brown hair that trails into green. He has pointed ears and antlers. He's wearing a brown shirt and a silver necklace and is crossing his arms as he smiles down at Micah

I think I’ll be popping back on here every now and again. Postings might still be sporadic while we’re still dealing with health stuff, but bear with me. Now, for #AwesomeCharacters:

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Of the six DnD-style abilities (see below), which one does your character score highest in? Which one is lowest? Strength Dexterity Constitution Wisdom Intelligence Charisma #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

I’m going to be dropping off BlueSky for a bit. Life has dropped a ton of shit and I need some time away to focus on things at home. Moots can catch me in DMs (replies might be slow) or Discord if we share a server.

#Juniplex Thanks Khonri for hosting! It’s been great working through the prompts for this month. It’s helped me to figure out some more of the background for what’s happening before and during my story and the response to it. Inklings of ideas are forming for a separate series in the same world.

We're at the end of #Juniplex 2026! Do as you will with today. 💜 But I am curious to know what discoveries you made about your world through whatever you worked on this month though! (🫙🪙 rattle in the reply @ ~6am, but not for me this time! Anything this month is going to our lovely Prof Emily.)

Outro, Prompt 30. This is your free space day! Do your promo or whatever, leave feedback, tell me what fun and/or horrific thing you uncovered about your world thanks to this prompt.

Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Talk about relevant characters! Yap! Or don't! Develop a new military or guild or whatever or talk about one you've already built. Make friends.

The background features a blurred, purple toned image of a old helmet laying in a field of grass in the foreground; far in the distance a castle and tall mountain peak are visible.

#Juniplex 29 Oh dear. BLU collapse time! Generally, the Guild are all about trade, and ideally avoiding war, however it’s worth remembering that the monarchs of Fae are powerful magic bearers, which might get the hackles up of a few other organisations in the BLU collapse.

Khonri 🫜@khonri.com · last mo.

UH OH... This is the silly community interaction day! Our worlds all exist together now and the power of #Juniplex has magically put us in PLAYFUL conflict with one another. Where would your force logically find its allies and enemies in this scenario?

A daily prompt card for #Juniplex 2026 (aka the JunitaryIndustrialComplex), hosted by @khonri.com.

Outro, Prompt 29. Uh oh, all of your war crimes have caused the walls of the Bluesky Literary Universe (BLU) to collapse. Where do your people find new enemies and allies, and how/why? (be cool about this, it's meant to be fun)

Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Talk about relevant characters! Yap! Or don't! Develop a new military or guild or whatever or talk about one you've already built. Make friends.

#Juniplex 28 For the most part, there’s been a lot of debate and not an awful lot of laws when it comes to war crimes, primarily because Light and Dark tend to want to outlaw the others tactics. HOWEVER, there are a few that made it in (or *will* make it in after in-book events)

This is a safe creator space because these are FICTIONAL WORLDS. Experimentation? Going after civilians and/or their infrastructure? Cruel and unusual weaponry? What was done in the aftermath? (Please hide this #Juniplex post if you think the content will disturb your day. Take care of yourself.)

A daily prompt card for #Juniplex 2026 (aka the JunitaryIndustrialComplex), hosted by @khonri.com.

Culture & Consequences, Prompt 28. It's not a war crime the first time! What's an incident in your world that later became documented as a war crime or crime against humanity*? Does something like the Geneva Conventions exist?

Interpret each prompt as suits your needs! Talk about relevant characters! Yap! Or don't! Develop a new military or guild or whatever or talk about one you've already built. Make friends.

#Juniplex 27 Most people do not leave the Guild completely, though they might change roles or retire. Those who become unfit to travel so much, whether through injury or old age, usually end up living at Guild HQ or another Guild-owned site, but might choose to return to family or live elsewhere.

Today is National PTSD Awareness Day in the US, so I'm making today's #Juniplex question focused around it and by extension one of two groups with high incidence rates. How does your system handle its vets? How does society at large treat them? Is there even acknowledgment of the lingering ghosts?

A daily prompt card for #Juniplex 2026 (aka the JunitaryIndustrialComplex), hosted by @khonri.com.

Culture & Consequences, Prompt 27. How are veterans of this organization treated? What acknowledgment (or lack thereof) are given towards physical and/or mental repercussions of having served?

#Juniplex 26 I will catch up on the last 2 days at some point, but this is a faster one: For most fae, the traditional death rites are conducted via burning the body on a pyre (a few cultures excepted), so unless known otherwise, that’s generally what the Guild will make the utmost effort to do.

Khonri 🫜@khonri.com · 2mo ago

There is probably a very non-zero chance of death occurring on the job in your world, so let's talk about it. Fun(?) Fact: When I was researching this topic for #Juniplex, I had no idea that "death gratuity" was a thing. Interesting talk for our walkies and a bit grim if you think too much on it.

A daily prompt card for #Juniplex 2026 (aka the JunitaryIndustrialComplex), hosted by @khonri.com.

Culture & Consequences, Prompt 26. How is the death of a member handled in or out of active conflict? How, if at all, are corpses retrieved, and what's done with them? Is there a system of "death gratuity" or survivor benefits?

#Juniplex 23 A few days ago, I referenced the efforts by Uvali and Enru to prevent a revolutionary group from forcing the Court into war, however that operation was much more substantial than what could be done by a few members from within Court.

Khonri 🫜@khonri.com · 2mo ago

This was supposed to be #Juniplex Day 6 for D-Day, but it fits better here. This is separate from your legendary/mythological incidents early on. These are the 100% certified real incidents with minimal embellishments. I also love inviting brainworms of "what if?" to how you think about your world.

A daily prompt card for #Juniplex 2026 (aka the JunitaryIndustrialComplex), hosted by @khonri.com.

Fame & Glory, Prompt 23. HAs there been a major historical battle, event, or operation that definitively changed the course of world history? What happened? What would your world be like if it hadn't happened?

#WIPSnips - no “finale”, but vibes with this “final” In the Prologue for this one, when the reader gets a sneak-peek into the reasons behind everything about to unfold for Cassie and her (witch) sister.

The choice wasn’t really made there, in that vault. Mòrag had already decided, from the second she had seen it - an obnoxiously bright burst of magic for a witch in training, with far more blue to it than she’d seen in hundreds of years, and the girl didn’t even break a sweat. This girl was the best chance Mòrag had ever had. A gift from the universe. And likely the last. One last, final chance, before she would have to admit to herself that it was over.

The #WIPSnips word for June 24th is "finale" (going with the World Cup inspo, this was supposed to be "final" but I made a typo on the graphic and didn't notice until I was uploading it and didn't feel like fixing it lol) #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

#WIPSnips - no penalty, but vibes, with the price people pay for immortality. Unlike most vampires, the Mer-King Glaucus despises his, and would rather not have it. Cassie has some sympathy for him over that.

Unfortunately, as Glaucus says, immortality always has a price. For the vampires, it’s the susceptibility to silver, the craving for blood, the…” He looked away, suddenly appearing very uncomfortable to be having this conversation with me. “…lust it causes.” He cleared his throat. “I don’t know what it is for Glaucus. I’d rather not know. But he makes no secret of how he despises it.”
If Glaucus was that old, it went some way to explain why he talked as if everyone were youngsters. But, like Ben, he would likely have lost everyone important to him over the years. That was bound to wear on someone, especially when you had no other immortals of your own kind to share it with.

The #WIPSnips word for June 23rd is "penalty" The words this week were absolutely not inspired by the fact that all that's been on our TV for the last week or so is the World Cup. Nope. #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
