A beautiful article by my friend @yasminangoe.bsky.social that finally makes me feel seen as someone who doesn’t quite fit in either the plotter or pantser camps!
I wrote an article…you know about trusting yourself and stuff. Check it out.

Wrote this piece for Harpers Bazaar about the life, legacy, and hate-induced murder of Jonathan Joss through the eyes of being a Two-Spirit Native person this Pride. I hope you take a read. For Him. For all of us. 🪶
You can quickly use @resist.bot's leading petition on keeping flu shots to quickly message your reps. If you have a more personal story about how the flu shot protects a loved one, use the @5calls.org app to leave a voice mail this weekend. Petition Link: resist.bot/petitions/PQ...
I spent the week holding my 6 y.o with flu A. Her fevers spiked to over 104. Fever reducing meds offered little relief. Every day I reminded myself that she's vaccinated & started Tamiflu within 24 hours of symptoms. I knew she would be okay. I also knew this flu season claimed the lives of so many.
A LOT of people out there saying "I don't like what's going on but a boycott will hurt tipped servers" and "I'm super mad about all this but putting up a protest sticker/flyer seems too radical" and folks, I cannot. *fyi, buy-nothing day tomorrow focuses on big chains. Use cash @ small businesses
A fantastic article!
"When a civilization is limited to work that produces profit... we distance ourselves from the values of care and generosity—and the simple but profound belief that what happens to one of us affects all of us." A marvelous piece by @annehelen.bsky.social.

This week’s #FeaturedFictionFriday library video was co-hosted by one of our students who spoke about how much he liked the vulnerability of the MC. Thank you Jason Reynolds for writing a book that so many of our students, especially boys, have appreciated reading. #BookSky #SchoolLibrarian
Just finished reading LOOKING FOR SMOKE by K.A. Cobell and wow….that was an amazing mystery/thriller! Definitely going to make this a future #FeaturedFictionFriday #BookSky #SchoolLibrarian
Was so excited to share this gorgeous book with students for this week’s #FeaturedFictionFriday the MC Niarah is a doomsday preparer but she can’t prepare for MAC—the cute boy who fills her world with hope. ❤️ #booksky #schoollibrarian
Saw this while walking yesterday and totally smiled. :) I was reminded how small acts from strangers can impact us. #positivity #kindness #love
I love that my job involves reading. Because the more books in our library I read, the better I can recommend them to students. Just started OUR SHOUTS ECHO by Jade Adia — and this first page is 🔥🔥🔥 #AmReading

It was so cold yesterday, I spent most of the day on the couch under blankets reading…finished this beautiful book by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Can’t wait to recommend it to our students! Shout out to First Book Marketplace for offering affordable, diverse books to schools! #amreading #SchoolLibrarian
As part of my librarian role, I feature a different book from our school library in a weekly video to get students excited to read. I love getting students to participate in these videos and talk about their favorite books! This week’s #FeaturedFictionFriday was by one of my seniors:
