2025 was the first year where I worked full-time as a social media manager in the game industry. Learned a loot this year, here are some key lessons 👇
Don't get me wrong, I like Expedition 33 and agree they deserve most of their awards, but it feels like awarding best indie game to multi-million budget games is meant to water down what the term means so EA, Activision and other big publishers can start releasing their "indies"
domi@domi.zip · 8mo agoThe inflation hit so hard that the indie game of the year 2025 had to have multi-million budget, just below $10 000 000. Above that you can aspire for single A tier production.
