Working on blockend right now https://tipling.com

Made a backend for Dear ImGui for Sega Dreamcast. I can’t believe it works. Sadly, I don’t have a mouse/keyboard for the Dreamcast, but once I do, it’s going to make this thing even more incredible. 😂

I'm going to break up my graphics pipeline spam in my gpu.cpp file by using C++ concepts. First time using them, they remind me of duck typing in go.

I'm like at the 2 month point where I usually get bored and abandon my project to do something new, I am feeling that right now. I suddenly want to work on a software CPU rasterizer again. BUT. I have decided NO. I will stick with it. Added buildings back #gamedev

A screenshot of my game demonstrating buildings can be built now

I'm just gonna stay off of social platforms until the AI storm is over. I'll keep working on my project, and at some point people will either have adapted or moved on and by then forge-gpu will be pretty capable and maybe I'll have a game written and people will not automatically hate it.

This week I will spend time improving the existing SDL GPU lessons and the technical writing in forge-gpu instead of adding more lessons. I think they all need a lot of work and could be better written.

You don't get a free pass to harass someone when you find out they used AI to build, create or research something. People think they get a license to insult individuals and the work they decided to share. You can just stay quiet instead.
