Today I've been adding clip brushes to my Playdate prototype, which are basically invisible walls for the player. In this test I added two invisible walls so players can't get outside the bridge platform. It works really well 🙂

put my monitor in portrait mode so i could test my project better and i actually kinda like is. this is with the opengl app running real-time, not an image. also feels better for coding and social media

I'm somewhat stressing out from my game taking 1-1.5 years more to make than initially planned, and then I occasionally stumble upon some new release which was 8 years in the making, and then I read a blog post about a game started 14 years ago ...and then there's Dwarf Fortress

David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.

so think i actually got this mocap rig final this time. made a new loop on easter with the fixed armature from the artist. feels done to me. got some new outfits in the pipeline as well, and hope to get something out this month (demo, ideally, but the webpage at least)

convoy game progress from tonight. aim rotation speed is in, different weapons rotate at different speeds while they're aimed. auto-aim is in, its a configurable curve per-weapon that maps distance to auto-aim angle.
