If you want to find the absolute worst people on this platform. Make a comment, even a benign comment or even PRAISE, about DOCTOR Emily Wilson. I generally despise people who shit on academics. But holy Christ are these people annoying af. Don’t know why that’s like a hornets nest.

Specifically, I got there because Wilson was like “how can he BOTH have war guilt AND want to murder his wife’s suitors, it’s incoherent” and I was like “that’s the most normative thing in the world.”

Accurate. My wife was ICU nurse at the time and I was working for VA and the public official denial and baseless bullshit sessions daily made our jobs 1000x harder and I will never forgive them for that (amongst many things I won’t forgive or forget) neither will she.

First, thank you to all the front line workers, especially the nurses , doctors, respiratory therapists, etc. Lex was verbally beaten down, carries trauma most can’t (blessedly won’t) and is still standing. The US wasn’t given time to process the pandemic. We went from pandemic hell to Jan 6th.

I continue to believe that every city or municipality which offers any sort of public funding or tax exemptions to a team should receive a share of team ownership of equal value—annually in the case of tax exemptions—and receive dividends like any other owner.
