Furry that escaped from botville. 41 going on 42 years old. SL User (18 years?!), waning video game, avid board gamer. Also wrestles as Akane Asaki in EAW in SL

I think having friends and companions you can have an open dialogue about sex with is healthy. And honestly at times it needs to be had. Some pople are left with questions and 0 answers after living in spaces where they were forced to repress their sexual feelings and had no way to open up about it

Being a sex/kink positive person and having sex/kink positive friends has actually been one of the healthiest things in my life. I feel safer with people who embrace their kinks because theyre more honest with themselves about who they are and it breeds a safe judgement free zone around them

I've been in furry since 1998 in a capacity, 2002 *officially*. I have seen our little sub culture go from a wonderful, horny, LGBTQ centric space full of freaks (affectionate), to a hive of antis and trendy streamers and corpos and WAY TOO MANY KIDS IN ADULT PLACES *cough* FA *cough*.

I would 100% rather pose for an SL noobie struggling with the linden viewers camera than an established SL photographer using A.i tools, viewers or whatever. We have a shrinking market of legit new video and photo tools whilst photographers are all convincing eachother using gen A.i is fine now

Dude I am so tired of us being automatically opted in to any fucking website's AI bullshit without our consent, it is ridiculous that the onus has to be on us to check apps and websites we use every day because these companies are banking on us to not notice just long enough to get the data it wants

I can't imagine the kind of cognitive dissonance it must create to be a vocal anti-MAGA type, routinely calling them bigots etc, only to fully agree with them about how one particular minority group really is the devil and has to be shunned.

The legitimate uses of "AI", which are medical and data research, don't even use anything that resembles the kind of "AI" that everyone else is using. They're custom built algorithms, basically. And the only reason they get conflated is that people trying to sell "AI" know this helps their cause.

[Akane EAW] Tch, I had a feeling that people would come out of the wood work to come at me for the belt, but I'm always getting better and keeping in shape. Thank Kami that I got this reinforced heavy bag that can stand up to my kicks

Akane is kicking their pink heavy bag with a stiff kick from their right leg in their workout outfit, which consisted of a single strap sports bra and tight workout pants with rainbow lines over a dark gray fabric. The cybermare is focused on their workout, while also thinking about how they're going to respond to the callout and what the ramifications of that could be. On the wall facing the camera are 3 posters and blue lockers. The left poster with the blue neon tubing is their first poster featuring the time they used the brown palomino Demi-hoss kit for the maitreya Lara5 body and their pinker original gear. The right poster with the neon pink neon tubing is their current gear. The upper poster just off camera with the red neon tubing is part of the Neon Sun logo on a black background. The small locker in the corner is blue instead of pink as EAW owns the locker instead of it being their own personal locker

I know I’ve said it before but I really hate the term “Friendslop” when it comes to describing games. The idea of hanging out with pals for an evening online for $10-$15 to play a game made by a human being is equivalent to AI generated garbage that we gotta describe it as slop? Just sucks.

I remember Electronic Arts from the 80s, making weird games for the Commodore 64. They grew and grew, and made a lot of iconic games along the way, and unfortunately have been a mess for a while. It's sad to see where they're headed now.

JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

Harry Potter has been on the NYT Children's & Young Adult Series list for NINE HUNDRED AND FIVE WEEKS, in case you're wondering whether anyone gives a shit about giving the terf queen their money. And know that every pull to publish, fanfic, tattoo, pin, whatever the fuck keeps these books relevant.
