I feel like I'm going a bit mad. What on earth about the farcical situation over the last few months would make anyone genuinely hopeful that the Strait will reopen?! I don't understand. It's like a crypto pump and dump but every week on the same shitcoin.

A BBC headline above an image of an oil tanker reads 'Oil prices fall on hopes Strait of Hormuz could reopen'.

This is part of several structural weaknesses in the Nigel For No 10 project. 1. There's a lower ceiling on any political movement that goes to the extremes. A far right party needs to persuade the centre right voter that the threat from the left is so bad as to justify an extreme response.

I think basically between elections it does become easy to forget quite how many of Farage's parties do fall apart, arguably Reform is his third, and a large part of that is that he just does not have the temperament to lead anything more than a protest.

If you're jaded by all the FIFA and Infantino bullshit, support your local National League/NL North/NL South team. - It's cheap - Your money makes a difference - You can sit near the pitch - You can almost always get tickets - There's no VAR - Decent quality football - You might see a future star

Even if he was still an MP, his party's policy is to get rid of all public health and social care services and privatise it all So his sole contribution would be to repeatedly say "Nope" to any and all suggestions Plus, and this is important, he's a ball bag. And nobody wants to meet a ball bag
