After multiple matches were disrupted by “influencer“ douchebags using spectator areas as content creation spaces, I was happy to read that Wimbledon will not be credentialing influencers and plans to confiscate ring lights and other items that can disrupt play. 👍🎾 www.dailymail.com/sport/tennis...

This nation was founded on a union, and on this Labor Day, we’re reminded that the American worker, not Washington, has led to our prosperity. As one of the few pro-union GOP congressmen at the time, I’d rather celebrate the workers than the paperwork signers who gave us off today. (Link below)

Far right has all the earmarks of Nazism it's the opposite of tea party conservatism instead of less government control & more personal freedom you are looking at absolute control & a complete lack of personal freedom

Anti-labor messaging has been used by the wealthy to sabotage elections and keep the people from rising since Upton Sinclair ran for Governor of California in 1934. A Hollywood Exec filmed actors lying about being homeless to scare Californians and sink his campaign. We must rise this time.

Among many things wrong here is comparing 1960 to 1995. The reason talk radio wasn't big in 1960 is that AM was still playing music. With the advent of FM, more radio stations moved to talk - long *before* 1987, by which time there were hundreds of talk shows. What powered Limbaugh was *syndication*

1987 Reagan’s Chair of FCC Mark Fowler: FCC wld no longer enforce Fairness Doctrine, “almost overnight, the media landscape was transformed. The driving force was talk radio. in 1960, there were only two all-talk radio stations in America; by 1995, there were 1,130” www.poynter.org/reporting-ed...
