I can only dream of a Belgian-like regional system for GO or VIA. Belgium is highly comparable to SW Ontario + GTHA. It's a similar size (30/45km2), similar population (10/11M), full of small/med sized cities with comparable populations. Trains are frequent, cheap, comfortable all over the country.

Wow. Look at how big these units are, how most reach both sides of the building offering daylight and fresh air across the home. This floor plate gives another 5-10% of the area back to units to add bedrooms. The IBC is the worst building code in the world and bans this (which is legal outside NA)
