STH got their bill this week for the next two years of #rctid footie. Due Sept. 3 of THIS year. Cause the economy is fantastic and nobody is gonna worry about shelling out a big extra payment right now.

The Timbers have for a few years had a bunch of mid/forward players with individual potential and little team commitment. Something has changed in the past month. They’re playing as a team, assisting each other, and getting results. #rctid

Still blows my mind that I am watching this match in the shadow of Providence Park in my volunteer-run supporter beer hall and I'm listening to this guy call the match

A photo of a teenaged John Strong blowing on a vuvuzela in the North End of the stadium with the Timbers Army as someone next to him is in a surrender cobra pose.

Caption: John Strong, 18, of Lake Oswego adds to the noise in Section 206, where anyone who considers himself "mental and barmy" can be part of the Timbers Army.

You could blame Trump for this. However, this is also what happens when the city of Seattle is allowed to gain too much confidence. You made them believe in their own mythology. Now Lumen is the site of a national humiliation. Congratulations to Seattle. Fortress, my ass.

New to the this round ball feet game, watching the FIFA fair play racism has no place in football Men’s World Cup…anybody catch what the Azteca yells in unison when the opposing keeper makes a goal kick?

Rebecca: "Chaps, Alexi left us" Zlatan: "Who? Rebecca: "Alexi will be back, Alexi will be back with us very soon" Thierry: "Your plan worked, Rebecca" Rebecca: "Don't you bring me into this, no chance" Zlatan: "America, you're welcome" lmaooooooooooooooooo

Feels like a lot of STEM guys believed coding was the hardest thing a human could do, and assumed that once somebody invented an AI that can code, it would follow naturally that the AI can do all of the lesser non-coding things that other dumber people were doing

WC live play commentary just included the words “Portland Timbers”. Not something we hear often! Timbers fans are definitely cheering our Kiwi in the tournament!
