Tomorrow the EHRC Guidance comes into force. To mark this event, Trans Pride Exeter invites you to the funeral of the Equality Act 2010. Made to protect the rights of minority groups, it has been subverted so trans, non-binary and intersex people can be segregated from all single sex spaces.

The 8 year wait is down in the South West, where the wait is the longest in the country. This is one of the reasons we formed, to protest this neglect that destroys lives. Please remember that wait time whenever you hear someone say transgender health care is rushed.

With hostility rising in the UK media many Trans folks are left feeling unwelcome, unsafe and vulnerable. Something as human as needing to use a bathroom can be a high stakes, stressful situation. Safe spaces are valuable, and visible shows of support can help a great deal.
