It's a cold wet moody fall day today. FINALLY FINALLY! AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA! I'm drinking ALL the tea today. ALL OF IT! I'm gonna write wrapped in a blanket while wearing a sweater, too, Oh, and fuzzy socks, and a cat. I don't even own a cat but I'm sure one will appear given all this cozy FALL!
I was busy with the Mana Runners book 2 launch, but I'm back today with a big new #D&D toy for ya'll. This is a little experiment I'm calling, "Into the Snow" www.travisbach.net/blog/2026/10... #DnD #5e #Dungeonmasters
Into the Snow: An Experiment — Travis Bach
Into the Snow is a hook and a list that are designed to add player-driven rewards to a travel or survival segment. It should be implicitly compatible with whatever your campaign or adventure is doing...

Playing Final Fantasy 4 as an adult-> Cecil and Kain: "we must rescue Rosa from Baron" Rosa: is a healer with low offense yet she escapes, crosses the mtns, crosses a desert, gets hella poisoned, still makes it to freedom - all SOLO. Day after being cured, goes to a war zone w Cecil. Holy crap!

Brag: I have a great evil cackle. Absolutely a bit too authentic. Years of DMing have taught me that a true evil cackle must have glee as it's core. The laugh isn't for your foes, it's for you. #Dungeonmasters #TTRPG
It's launch day! @rachel-aaron.bsky.social 's and my #5e based book series has a book 2 now. This is our technomagical take on #D&D. It's a dungeon running action-comedy full of "OMG, did he really just say that on TV?" rachelaaron.net/death-has-go... #DnD
Book 3 goooo!! Also, book 2 is out in 3 days!! I hope you're ready for some awesome! amzn.to/4rBABxV
Poor punctuation or dirty laptop screen? It's a mystery for the ages. #amwriting #writing
In the stage of indie authordom where I'm too busy doing launch stuff to write. Not complaining, I actually like the business/marketing side, but I'm watching days sliding off the calendar like

Hiiiiiii can I interest you in shiny things? I’ve been out sick for a week so no new pieces, but I did restock some sold-out leaf earrings and there are other pretties that haven’t found a home yet. wyrdingstudios.com (Shares very appreciated since being out sick for a week is, uh, Kinda Not Great)

The first book was SO good! Book two is an immediate pre-order. @rachel-aaron.bsky.social and @travisbach.bsky.social really nailed this series in terms of world-building, characters, and vibes. It's great all the way down. #Booksky #LitRPG #🪐📚

I know this is hardly a hot take, but as someone who uses music specifically to sink into the creative trance needed for writing, there is a special place in hell for people who put ALARM CLOCKS and TIMERS beeping in the background of songs. #amwriting
