This is the artwork I created for the recent EU fanfest art contest. Didn't make it into the final selection, but I like how it turned out, so I thought this would be a good moment to share it :)

IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI. I deleted my account this morning.

The US has been sanctioning Iran for decades. In fact, they sanction about 30% of the world today with the aim to enact human suffering and discontent that leads to the emergence of an opposition in line with US regime change goals. US citizens should oppose these sanctions out of principal.

Iran is already under the most brutal sanctions imaginable, but now Washington is threatening to punish any country that trades with Iran by slapping them with a 25% tariff. They want to scare the entire global economy into cutting them off.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: after a *lot* of testing and a group chat full of my smartest FFXIV friends, we have figured out the obfuscation is vulnerable, and that the account IDs are actually reversible. SE needs to stop sending the account ID entirely to clients and just set a hidden flag or something

alright, after some investigation (ty @chirp.bsky.social): - Account IDs are now obfuscated in some way we're unsure of, but this obfuscation still lets you correlate players clientside(!) - we think the network layer has some form of obfuscation on it but we're not quite sure how it works yet
