Because there was just so much optimism and hope to me in the 90s. And it felt to me somewhat like the peak of western civilisation. I’m not joking… I’m being deathly serious. I feel like we’re a long ways from that currently. That’s not to say we can’t turn the car around but I don’t think any of us in the 90s could predict where the world is currently at.
