I was honored to do some of the early playtesting for Escape from Wonderland, and i like it a lot. It has a nice balance between open storytelling and some intense and unique gameplay mechanics. If you like TTRPGs, i definitely recommend getting it when it's out, and/or trying the new beta now!

Hi! We have been super not active on Bluesky 1. Because we’re bad at it & 2. Because we’ve been working on the public beta rules for our uncanny horror game, Escape from Wonderland. They’re ready! Read! Play! We’d love feedback and are thrilled to finally share them. docs.google.com/document/d/1...

This has been a labor of love! What started as a small game hack has expanded over two years into a 200-page horror tome with a TON of moving pieces. It's our most ambitious game and it's not done, but this is a milestone. It's creepy and unsettling and I hope folks will read and play it!

the nicest thing you can wish upon an artist in 2026 is that their work gains a small but dedicated cult following of kind hearted and politically shrewd weirdos & sickos that keep the fire going. the meanest thing you can wish upon an artist in 2026 is that their work gains a large online fandom

Tabletop RPGs don't really have a rating system (RPGGeek?). But in terms of games that I FEEL are still underrated -- compared to how awesome and influential they've been to me! -- I'm gonna go with @turtlebun.com's "14 Days" and/or "Birds Are Amazing." They live in my brain permanently.

Hear me out... Univerally praised games are neat enough, but nothing hits quite like something unpopular that speaks to *you*. So show-and-tell: Link and Explain a game that's UNDERRATED (sub-500 user reviews), UNDERRATED (sub 80% score) or BOTH (ideally!) that is near and dear to your heart.

New episode of Design Doc before 2025 is a wrap! We talk about New Year's resolutions and why they're pretty great, actually—one Skill, one Mastery, and three Experiences to round out every year. Thank you everyone for listening! We will see you in 2026. pod.link/1298080097/e...

It’s the final day to get the itchio bundle for the Palestinian Children’s Relief fund! For $10 you can get Questlandia and Noirlandia + over 240 other games. It’s a great way to round out your weird indie library while supporting the fight for Palestinian liberation.🇵🇸 itch.io/b/3299/pales...

We brought Wonderland to a real-life theme park! In the latest episode of Design Doc, we talked about how to take tabletop rules off the table. What needs to be simplified, what can be dropped, and what should we wear?

The latest Design Doc is about epilogues! How do you end a game on the best possible note, while also letting the players pick the tune? Is it unbearable to introduce new rules at the end of a long session? Why do games need to end, anyway??
