turtle meat be hidin join my chatroom/game: turtleme.at no, i do not support fishing or cooking or burning or eating real turtles, that would be very bad

I'm going to say something ABOUT turtle meat that will get me canceled but I feel like I have to say it anyway. Yes, it is a monstrous thing to try and catch a turtle to use as food. The turtles are innocents. Innocents are always killed. It is an atrocity. BUT.

turtleme.at is awesome and you should all go play it. It's an amazing example of the kinds of social experiences enabled by ATProto.

turtleme.at

Fish sea turtles, cook them, burn most of them, and talk about it. A game and a public chat room, kept in your own atproto repository.

the point of turtleme.at is just to be a fun chill place to hang and make number go up and play games, that’s about it, chatroom first

I’m sorry, but if you bring turtle meat - or any damn meat at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

rejoice big screen enjoyers, just released a preliminary desktop layout that has chat always visible and larger reef sweep grids! turtleme.at

a grid of squares in a fishing interface, a chat window next to it
