I've lately gotten much more comfortable with the idea of having an RPG stat named "intelligence." I think the issue is more about making it inborn/racialized/etc than about the notion that two individuals could have different levels of analytical/critical thinking ability.

I'm gonna be real, I actually forgot that Wordle got bought by the NYT. Anyway, now my partner and I are thinking of words for each other and making guesses manually. ^_^
People don't want to just do what they enjoy, they want to know they're "normal." If something they're not into becomes common enough, then they're no longer perfectly aligned with normalcy, and their moral worth is threatened. Ban it to reset normalcy to what it was when they were aligned with it.
