Exactly my experience yesterday with Google Fiber. It lied about remotely resetting my router... the fiber had been cut... and repeatedly lied about the service team. The fiber was repaired, probably just because of automatic detection of the cut.

soonergrunt@soonergrunt.bsky.social · 3w agoTo say nothing of the fact that sometimes you just don't have a choice, and you got to take your kids with you to go pick up some fucking milk and eggs. And lastly, there's a lot to be said for spending time doing mundane things with your kids and just being with each other.
New cat at home, my sister is moving. Poor little guy, very disoriented. Hope he feels better soon.
