Just now on @Morning_Joe:
@AbdulElSayed was asked by @WillieGeist whether his critique of Israel is about @netanyahu or Israel itself. He made it clear his problem is with Israel. Lots of references to

Speaking of fake AI… I was an engr at AWS. On my Day1 orientation in Seattle (Jan 20, 2020) we were encouraged to check out the futuristic unstaffed "AI-based" Amazon Go shop. "Walk in, pick up snacks, walk out, account billed." Turns out it was basically just "humans in India viewing cameras." 😑

So, Amazon’s ‘AI-powered’ cashier-free shops use a lot of … humans. Here’s why that shouldn’t surprise you | James Bridle

Anyone willing to guess the # of think pieces we'll get in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post et al if Haley Stevens loses by 10 or more next Tuesday that will argue that Democratic leadership should moderate on Palestine if they want to have their candidates win?

In 1991, construction of a new 34-story office in Lower Manhattan unearthed the remains of roughly 15,000 Africans 20 feet below ground. Many were enslaved to build the city. NPS calls it “the oldest & largest known excavated burial site in N. America for both free & enslaved Africans.” 🧵 More: ⬇️
