This is an amazing first step! It's a shame that an elevator industry lobby group managed cut the line looking to align Washington State its elevator codes with the international standard, but allowing smaller elevators in smaller apartments is still a very meaningful change.

I’ve been working on this video with HUB Cycling since last summer and I’m incredibly excited to share it with you soon! It looks at the growing divide in how cities approach bikeshare and scootershare, and the messy history of how we got to this point.

One of my first jobs growing up was helping my friend deliver the Langley Advance around our neighbourhood. Sort-of felt like a full-circle moment to be interviewed by them for this story!
