I hate when I dream about doing something stressful and wake up in the middle of it, because then I'm stressed out but also I can't shake the feeling that I still have to finish the thing. And I can't! It's not a real thing!

Baby not only wrote over 1k words on her new book yesterday, she couldn't fall asleep because she kept having new ideas, and then she got up early to finish the chapter. She is also cultivating a jaunty hat aesthetic that will serve her well in her creative future.

My kid wrote 769 words in the time it took me to proof like ten pages. I am so proud, and also, I can feel my brain dessicating in real time.

Just finished the first post-prologue Veilguard mission, and so far I am very enjoying this game. The combat feels more like Horizon: Forbidden West than any of the previous games, and so far I'm tanking decently. Drop kicking dudes or jump-stabbing them after a block absolutely rules.
