It's been so weird seeing the discourse around Dawnwalker that players don't have time to do everything. That's so baked into every ttrpg I run that I don't even think about it

What's weirdest about this for me is that a lot of video gamers seem to think that every game should be "for them". If they don't like a game then somehow that game needs to change, instead of them simply playing one of the hundreds of games that do fit their tastes.
Well, that's not gonna happen. It's why I would never do a "flashback" storyline about Beverly's dad dying. That still happened, but my approach to trauma in this comic is always gonna prioritize how people heal, and that it's possible to heal. I want people relating to that things CAN get better.
