"whatever, everyone already uses it anyway so it's fine" is just not really the message a sorry person promotes. I'm frustrated by how everyone just gave him the benefit of the doubt. I'm not feeling very forgiving when this is the messaging. I don't think I'm being unreasonable either
Highlight, bold, italicize, underline. Every big-studio piece of media your brain claimed a singular childhood "hero" or "idol" from was made by a massive team of people. We just forget that, because the credits was when we stopped and rewinded the VHS tape.
KikiDoodle & Purrmaids@kikidoodle.bsky.social · 3mo agoI think it's about time we stop idolizing people for being the director or "creator" of a project we love unless we see and hear them uplifting their entire teams at every chance. I truly think a lot these creatives aligning with the dark side is them thinking ONLY THEY caused their success.
I hate everything thing about all of this, but most of all hate the fact that there’s a “GenAI Creators Fund,” when 75% of the US animation industry lives paycheck to paycheck and/or can’t find work, and dozens of my colleagues’ original pitched shows have been scrapped
Some example 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺’𝘳𝘦 setting up for the new generation… Pick up a pencil and draw something, coward.
Artists don't make great art trying to make the audience happy. The best art is fundamentally a bit selfish; trying to make the best possible version of what THEY want to see. When audiences demand their whims and wants be catered to they're not asking for art, they're demanding a product.

It has now been THREE MONTHS and GlobalComix has not -released a public statement and apology to affected -given an action plan for changing things -changed their TOS to not allow AI comics (as promised) If they have done any of these things and I missed it I would LOVE for people to show me.
